The importance of the problem is framed in modern documents of Ukrainian society – professional standards “Head (director) of preschool educational institution”, “Teacher of preschool educational institution”. The purpose of the research was to clarify and substantiate the social factors that affect the process of formation of professional speech competence in future teachers of preschool educational institutions. For this purpose, the following theoretical methods were used: analysis, synthesis, generalization and specification of the results of modern research on the issue. Based on the study of the literature and source base we identified the following social factors in the formation of professional speech competence in future teachers of preschool education: the social nature of language and social environment; its social differentiation (according to the individual’s professional duties and functions); the current language situation and the development of certain priorities; interaction of language and culture and their mutual influence.
